Clematis knots again

Another shot of a clematis knot. They are wonderfully sinuous, complex and twisted but at this time of year so brittle that they snap almost immediately if you touch them.

    I have a wild Clematis on the fence by my vegetable garden. It is amazing how fast those stems can grow.

    A great photo of a Clematis knot, I have a number of Clematis in the garden and as you say right now they are very brittle.
